I've got a switch-hitter Ranger. That is, he is good at both archery and melee, in accordance with Treantmonk's Guide to Rangers. I'm not interested in going with a straight archery ranger.
Should I...
A) Build him with a lot of Acrobatics and a level in Cavalier with the Emissary archetype? This would allow him to move at full speed in medium armor (eventually mithral full plate) and thus still tumble through threatened squares and enemies with Acrobatics. The downside is a slower spell progression and getting Evasion later.
B) Build him as a pure Ranger and put those skill points into Sense Motive and Diplomacy? The upside is more spells and earlier Evasion.
