Need help with ships: maps, sizes, layouts

Advice

So my players are soon going to board a ship from Korvosa to Cheliax and i want to milk this opportunity for all it's worth: adventures on the high seas, encounters with that aquatic section of the bestiaries that so rarely sees use. Maybe they even find a water temple.

But first they/I need a ship. I want to give them the opportunity to choose what kind of ship they hire for passage, whether they want to go fast and expensive or cheap and slow. The exploration and movement section in the core rulebook describes the speed per hour/day of four ship types:
Sailing ship, warship, longship and galley.

Now i have no idea what to imagine under each of these names.

I already downloaded the sample pictures of the Paizo flip-mats (Ship and Pirate-ship) from the store to get an idea, i also found ship maps from Stormwrack but those that are labelled with a ship type (like the Theurgeme and the caravel) don't match any of the types named in the book, so i don't know what categories they would approximate.

So what i need to know, is what are the approximate sizes and crew numbers of such ships, and which ships in my map material fits which descripstion and if you can i would be grateful for any floor plans, especially if they are already gridded for use in DnD/Pathfinder.

Quick help is aprreciated because the session starts in approximately 13 hours.

Here is an old thread on the matter. Hope it helps.
