Cure Minor Wounds

Pathfinder Player Companion

In Elves of Golarion, the trait, 'Lapsed Faith' grants the spell like ability 'Cure Minor Wounds' 1/day. But I cannot find this spell. Is it supposed to be Cure Light? Or perhaps Stabilize? Is this a spell, that I just haven't found?

Cure Minor Wounds didn’t survive the transition from 3.5. I’d say stabilise or virtue would be the closest PFRPG equivalents.

IIRC Elves Of Golarion was book for D&D 3.5, before the publication of Pathfinder. Cure minor wounds was removed from Pathfinder when 0th level spells way of working was changed (in 3.5 they were cast and expended like higher level spells).

It worked like cure light wounds but was 0th level spell that healed 1 point of damage (dealt one point of damage to Undeads).

The Exchange

And when orisons became at-will abilities, keeping cure minor wounds would have given every 1st-level cleric the power to heal 600 hp of damage per hour, all day long. You can see where this would be a bit of a problem.

Stabilize would be the replacement spell for Cure Minor Wounds. If you want to keep it, you should indeed limit it, perhaps via a house rule - say, for this spell only, the 0 level spell slot is used up for the day. Or usable only 1/hour. Or just leave it as above - usable 1/day.

As others have said, all Cure Minor Wounds did was heal 1hp of damage. There is no reason why the Lapsed Faith trait could not continue to simply allow a 1/day heal of 1hp. Cure Minor is only unbalanced when it becomes a real Orison, and can be used unlimited times per day.

Shadow Lodge

I kind of wish they had just kept CMW and either made it a 3 round casting time or put some hard limit on it, (can only heal an individuals Con mod per day with it).
