1) Does Aura of Cowardice affects mindless creatures or creatures otherwise immune to mind affecting spells like undead or vermins?
RAW is yes, but I am 99% sure RAI is no.
This is mostly so we can get enough FAQ request to get errata or an FAQ response.
I don't see why it wouldn't affect them. Obviously they're immune to these effects in most cases, but if there's something that explicitly bypasses their normal immunity I don't see why aura of cowardice wouldn't render them more susceptible.
Sometimes the intent of the rules does not match what is written. I am normally pretty good at figuring these out, and in this case I am asking for FAQ's. If they mark it as "no reply needed" then I know I was wrong.
It is hard to be afraid if you are mindless. It seems the ability was more for creatures that have an immunity to fear, but would not be mindless.

Absolutely, but we're explicitly talking about a situation where something unusual is bypassing that immunity and imparting fear onto something that is supposedly devoid of it. Can an undead bloodline sorcerer, wielding a fear effect against the undead, take advantage of an allied anti-Paladin's aura of cowardice? I see no reason why he shouldn't.
You can argue with me all day, but its easier to hit the FAQ button. I have been right about RAW being written incorrectly before, such as with haste before confirmed that I was right and it was changed. I am once convinced this is another error.

Actually, I don't think there's much more to say at all.
Anyways, even though I don't think there's any ambiguity or issue here I'll hit the FAQ button in the hopes of official clarification on the matter.
