So the Order of the Seal Keeper ability is kind of not written very well. Can the charge be a person? The edict and introduction speak of objects, but the Keeper ability does not mention objects, only locations and secrets.
If I chose to keep an object in my possession, would I be able to use the +2 to attack all the time?

Keeper (Ex)
At 2nd level, once per day the cavalier must select a location, or a secret that he has sworn to protect. If he chooses a location, he gains a +2 morale bonus on attack rolls when directly defending his charge. If he chooses a secret, he gains a +2 morale bonus on saving throws and opposed checks to resist revealing information about his charge. He gains these bonuses until he picks a new object, location, or secret to protect.
You only get the +2 to attack when defending a location. It doesn't mention objects which is weird, but then again maybe its on purpose so that you cannot do what you yourself suggested.

So, in that case, what kind of location would that be? Once I had to defend a village, that is about the only thing I can see it being used for. Maybe it is a once a day ability that lets you get the bonus for the fight (as in this area I am in).
And still, it does mention an object, but does not say what happens if he picks an object. It really sucks when they write something that has to be edited later or fought about.
