Silver Crusade

Hey guys I have a question in where I've been getting some mixed answers. I was really flip floppy in my first 3 weeks of Pathfinder so I made a Ninja, Played a game, Paladin, Played two games and I finally settled on the Druid. I was told by my local GMs ( Multiple ) that since they were ALL level 1 I was able to Take all of my Paladins and Ninja's experience and give it all to my druid. Is this the case?

P.S I was told by multiple GMs at my local PFS Game shop.

Wasn't this question already asked within the last week or so?

As long as the Ninja & Paladin were played under the same PFS number (xxxx-1), then yes. If they are played under 2 different numbers (xxxx-1 &xxxx-2), then no.

It depends. Technically, if the characters had different PFS #s, then they were different characters, and the XP you earned on each stays with them.

If you played all on the same number, then you've essentially rebuilt your character twice (Ninja, rebuilt to Paladin, rebuilt to Druid).

Further, if you now have those 3 XP on one character number (e.g. 12345-1), and you haven't yet played to get the 4th XP that will bump you to level 2, then you can rebuild one more time into your Druid.

If you played the characters with different numbers, you'll need to check with your local Venture Officer(s) to see if you can have the GMs fix the numbers on your chronicle sheets retroactively.

Worst case scenario, since you've played twice on your Paladin, you can rebuild that into the Druid and proceed with 2XP (and get one more chance to rebuild after 3XP).

What Nebten said.

Chronicle sheets are tied to a character number: xxxx-1, xxxx-2, xxxx-3, etc.

Whatever number was reported online - and recorded on the Chronicle sheet (they have to match) determines which character got the XP.

CombatTacos, I have reviewed your reported sessions and I am sending you a Private Message.

How do I Rebuild a PFS Character. I have 3 games with pregen Valeros. Game 1 no PFS # The other 2 Chronicle sheets have # 1234-1. I would like to start a new character. Do I change the new character as 1234-1 or do I start with a new Character number. 1234-2?
When I play the new character do Start on Chronicle game 4 as a level 2 character?

If you can find your GM or Venture Officer, you should ask for a new chronicle sheet for game 1, because it sounds as if you currently might not have PFS credit for it.

You can rewrite character 1234-1 to whatever currently legal character you want, since it hasn't been played at 2nd level. 1234-1 has 3 XP, so the next time you play 1234-1, game 4, you must advance it to 2nd level.

If you prefer to keep playing Valeros (or a fighter with a different name) as 1234-1 and start a new second character, you'd number the new one 1234-2 and start with 0 XP.

I read something about the max amount of gold is 500 per chronicle. What about the PP. How do I change the chartacter's name on the registration section in the website? Thanks for your help.

The maximum amount of gold and Prestige depends on the adventure and subtier. You can sometimes get more (or less) than 500 gp even at 1st level.

You can change your character's name by editing its website profile. This doesn't change the name recorded for each session. That should link to your character number, regardless of what the name says, but if it bothers you, a VO may be able to fix it.

Depends on the Pregen level. If they were all Level 1 and you used in with the number 1234-1, then yes you can use it to make any character you want for first level. You said you had no number for the first one, I assume that's when you got your number?

If the Valeros pregen was higher (L4 or L7) then you have to wait for the character to get that high to apply the chronicle. So if one of those games that were -1 was a L4 or L7 pre-gen, then you have to wait for your first character to get that high to apply to your character. I think if one of the chronicles is higher, you can make it your first chronicle with 500 gp reward. then then other 2, at L1 gives you the xp to make the character L2.

Hope that helped.

500 gp is only a flat rate for using a high level (4 or 7) to create a new L1 character you want to make.

PP or Prestige Points depends on the faction your character is and if act in the story that is appropriate to the faction. You can find that elsewhere on the site, or download the Pathfinder Guide to Organized Play (it's free) and it talks of factions.

If you click My Account it will prompt for your password. Log in and scroll down to my characters. You should be able to edit them.

Hope this helps.

@Saiman: There have been some changes to the PFS rules, so you might want to make sure you have the latest version (v6) of the PFS Guide to Organized Play.

The "change gold to 500, apply to new 1st level PC." has had the "new" part removed, so those chronicles can be assigned to any 1st level PC.

Factions have no bearing, anymore, on how much Prestige/Fame you can earn, as those are provided by the Primary & Secondary scenario Success Conditions, which are listed out, for the older scenarios, in a document named "Secondary Success Conditions".

Faction material, in newer scenarios, for the appropriate faction, offers access to a minor boon, now.
