Need Advice on a Witch

Advice

After way too long getting stuck in the DM chair, I'm finally getting a chance to play again. So ... I wanna make sure I've got a decent witch build thrown together for this game.

So, how am I for hexes, spell selection, and such? That's really my one point of uncertainty, since I've never played a witch before. I'm aiming to be a semi-decent at debuffing and battlefield control, and passable at support/out-of-combat healing.

Special campaign rules worth noting:
1: We rolled stats with ridiculously generous rules (Re-roll 1s and 2s).
2: 4 traits instead of 2
3: No race/alignment restrictions.
4: Starting at Level 10, at higher than average WBL.
(Yes, the GM does like high-powered games. How did you guess?)

Scarred Witch Doctor is reserved for Orcs. You'll need to be Human and take the Racial Heritage: Orc feat in order to take the class.

Otherwise, you seem decently outfitted.

I woul suggest getting Slumber Hex and dropping Agony for Ice Tomb or Retribution. I would also suggest the Accursed Hex feat. For your 11th level feat, Split Hex is incredible.

I'm not sure it's allowed or not, I think it is since Scarred Witch Doctor does not have an "Arcane Bond," but you may want to grab Eldritch Heritage (Arcane bloodline) to get a familiar, since you have the charisma for it.

I presumed that meant generally, not that there was no race/alignment restriction on the class.

I'm a bit wary of taking slumber, since it has a reputation for being a game-breaker. I do plan on snagging Split Hex once I get to level 11.

Yeah, I could've been a bit more specific on that unlocking the archetype.
