Alright, here's the deal: between my IRL games I've gotten the chance to play some PFS with some peoples via IRC on a forum I frequent, and I've finally gotten around to making my character, a tengu bones oracle with the haunted curse (yeah I know it's a weird set up but I like the flavor, the race bonuses and I've been coming up with possible unconventional ways to use the abilities).
I've only gotten to use him in a few test combats, in which I quickly decided that I hate heavy armor, but I wanna make sure I have my stuff together before I hit level two. I looked at the Oracle Guide listed in the sticky, but I still have some questions:
1. What would be a good progression of feats? I know I'm unlikely to get past level 10 probably. I was thinking maybe the silent spell/still spell combo to abuse with haunted bonus spells for enhanced distraction since I get a pretty good stealth bonus, but i don't know how useful it is in this format. Also looked at thanatopic and thernodic spell since I get necromatic stuff, but I don't really know.
2. Going with 1, what is the best order to take the feats?
3. Since I can switch out swordtrained for expertise with 3 eastern weapons, are there any eastern weapons that are worth being proficient in or should I just stick with swordtrained?
4. Seriously why am I supposed to wear heavy armor I do not get this
If it helps any, my first revelation is Raise the Dead and I get bonuses to stealth and bluff and disguise and stuff. I really would like to have skills that allow me to control the battlefield but also distract foes, help my team with stealth stuff with distraction or help them move around, bolster intimidate and bluff checks with ghost sound (pretending we got more people than we do, etc), etc...

Well, for starters, I don't get heavy armor either, especially seeing as you can get Armor of Bones as a later revelation.
I'm no expert about feats, so let's pass up on that for the moment, and I'll just say that Silent/Still spell are generally a tad wasteful for feats and spell slots. Not to say they don't come in handy, just saying that without spellblights in play, it's somewhat rare.
As for swordtrained, it's more a matter of personal taste.
That's all the suggestion I can give, as I personally know you (over the internet lol) and know you don't want an archetype on this character.

Im a big fan of the Eastern Weapons. The Nodachi can be argued for the best the weapon in the game. What's not to like about the Katana and Wakizashi? Naginata with its x4 crit. Sansetsukon and nine section whip if fighting defensively.
Well... he would get Nodachi, Katana and Wakizashi proficiency via Swordtrained...

Really? Did not know this...although a lot of the eastern weapons do look kinda cool. I can't imagine I'd need a lot of weapons but...
