Do Vikings get greater rage?

Rules Questions

The way I read it I wold say yes. It says barb level -3 Icant see a good reason not to the class seems specific.y designed not to let you have super rage mega level rage

Dark Archive

As written, no. Greater Rage is a barbarian ability that modifies Rage, but is not implied by the Rage class feature. Compare it with the monk's Stunning Fist class feature, which explains how it progresses as the monk levels.

I would have said yes, they get greater rage and tireless rage eventually. Part of the reason they give up something as powerful as weapon training.
Rage isn't nearly as good as weapon training when it comes to damage. It makes sense in my opinion that they'd get greater and tireless rage as a barbarian does.

Definitely not RAW. Greater and Tireless rage aren't parts of the Rage class ability, they're their own class abilities. Rage doesn't give you anything except rage. If it did, they wouldn't have any reason to specifically call out that you get rage powers.

Keep in mind that the viking also gets rage powers. Superstition, Ghost Rager, Witch Hunter, and Reckless Abandon are all very healthy additions to the fighter toolkit.

He doesn't. I can be argued that he should. I think he should. But he definitely don't.

Is this a poor wording or a intentional design?
