So so!Here i will ask some help, especially from people having experience in Forgotten Realms and its vast lore and atmosphere.
Years ago my party and I started a setting in Silver Marches of Forgotten Realms. We were a party made from the Wulfgar Barbarian tribes
and some Dwarf allies from Citadel Adbar.
And so i chose to be Red Tiger-Snow Cat-Ranger-Barbarian.
I really loved the concept of a TWF Savage (Claw Bracers) who is agile, mobile and his fighting techniques are the reflection of his animal Totem.Nothing new really,i liked that cliche at the time.I enjoyed it a lot.
Sadly, early in the game (lvl 4)our fellow stupid decided to go meet his ancestors prematurely! And so that was the end of the line for him.
Two years later,Again in FR setting i had the chance to play a Barbarian again and finally put to test this so long desired character.
I created a Rashemen Barbarian and guess which lodge,Snowwww Tiger! You didn't expect that one i bet!
I have to say in this point that my friends and I,strongly support the Role playing side of the game and how this factor actually affects the progression of your character,story-wise obviously but mechanics-wise as well.
And so i created a background of a child raised by a Telthorn Spirit in the Forests of Rashemen until the time comes for him to join civilization. Why i did that?Because Rashemen Barbarians actually have a community. They might be Bersekers but still they have laws that respect, for they are honorable and have the feeling of Pride stronger than anyone else. That is why the "Savage" flavor i needed (and was so much easier expressed by the wulfgar ideals) had to somehow be explained.
Eventually ,step by step, i forged this character which was really enjoyable and satisfying all the same, and my problems which was TWF with a barbarian could easily be solved by multi-classing again to Barbarian-Fighter.
And then....we started playing PATHFINDER!AND SO THAT WAS THE END OF LINE AGAIN FOR THAT FREAKING CHARACTER...Cayden f$~#ing Cailean...
The reason i mentioned all this is because now...We are about to start
"Reign of Winter"..And by divine RIGHT!i demand...to finally form my cliche concept.Sadly thought i realized that in Pathfinder its a lot harder to create a character like that, because it is demanding and multi-classing isn't the best option as you really lose important things from your progression.I searched into archetypes, feats, and possible combinations (of Bbn-Ftr-Rgr even Druid) that could serve my purpose and i am not yet satisfied.Natural attacks are a bad option late in the game and i want to keep it in Human race without something extraordinary like bite or gore attacks because i simply doesn't like it in this particular concept.TWF is demanding if i want it with this certain style (rage-pounce-rend-mobility in the battlefield and so on)
and we usually take things slow ( even if Reign of Winters reaches high levels as i am informed)
As i said we focus on Role playing a lot but still, combat and it's mechanics is something equally important and i wouldn't like my character to lack efficiency in any aspect.
I think i troubled you a lot but i gave a precise image of how i would like this to be.Somewhere in the digging i lost the way to make this satisfying...
So ladies and gends..I am open..get out your muskets and sh00t!
Point buy :21 + 2 racial (18 max in a stat in lvl 1,negative modifiers are not recommended ) (no the DM is NOT laughing..he is serious about this)
Thank you for your time in Advance :)
