Have you considered Spellslinger Wizard Archetype? It is exactly the concept but what do you mean by viable? It sure is a bit weak compared to other options but the style is attractive!

Although Myrmidarch that you already mentioned seems quite more suited to the task.

So so!Here i will ask some help, especially from people having experience in Forgotten Realms and its vast lore and atmosphere.

Years ago my party and I started a setting in Silver Marches of Forgotten Realms. We were a party made from the Wulfgar Barbarian tribes
and some Dwarf allies from Citadel Adbar.
And so i chose to be Red Tiger-Snow Cat-Ranger-Barbarian.
I really loved the concept of a TWF Savage (Claw Bracers) who is agile, mobile and his fighting techniques are the reflection of his animal Totem.Nothing new really,i liked that cliche at the time.I enjoyed it a lot.
Sadly, early in the game (lvl 4)our fellow stupid decided to go meet his ancestors prematurely! And so that was the end of the line for him.

Two years later,Again in FR setting i had the chance to play a Barbarian again and finally put to test this so long desired character.
I created a Rashemen Barbarian and guess which lodge,Snowwww Tiger! You didn't expect that one i bet!
I have to say in this point that my friends and I,strongly support the Role playing side of the game and how this factor actually affects the progression of your character,story-wise obviously but mechanics-wise as well.
And so i created a background of a child raised by a Telthorn Spirit in the Forests of Rashemen until the time comes for him to join civilization. Why i did that?Because Rashemen Barbarians actually have a community. They might be Bersekers but still they have laws that respect, for they are honorable and have the feeling of Pride stronger than anyone else. That is why the "Savage" flavor i needed (and was so much easier expressed by the wulfgar ideals) had to somehow be explained.
Eventually ,step by step, i forged this character which was really enjoyable and satisfying all the same, and my problems which was TWF with a barbarian could easily be solved by multi-classing again to Barbarian-Fighter.

And then....we started playing PATHFINDER!AND SO THAT WAS THE END OF LINE AGAIN FOR THAT FREAKING CHARACTER...Cayden f$!$ing Cailean...

The reason i mentioned all this is because now...We are about to start
"Reign of Winter"..And by divine RIGHT!i demand...to finally form my cliche concept.Sadly thought i realized that in Pathfinder its a lot harder to create a character like that, because it is demanding and multi-classing isn't the best option as you really lose important things from your progression.I searched into archetypes, feats, and possible combinations (of Bbn-Ftr-Rgr even Druid) that could serve my purpose and i am not yet satisfied.Natural attacks are a bad option late in the game and i want to keep it in Human race without something extraordinary like bite or gore attacks because i simply doesn't like it in this particular concept.TWF is demanding if i want it with this certain style (rage-pounce-rend-mobility in the battlefield and so on)
and we usually take things slow ( even if Reign of Winters reaches high levels as i am informed)
As i said we focus on Role playing a lot but still, combat and it's mechanics is something equally important and i wouldn't like my character to lack efficiency in any aspect.

I think i troubled you a lot but i gave a precise image of how i would like this to be.Somewhere in the digging i lost the way to make this satisfying...

So ladies and gends..I am open..get out your muskets and sh00t!
Point buy :21 + 2 racial (18 max in a stat in lvl 1,negative modifiers are not recommended ) (no the DM is NOT laughing..he is serious about this)

Thank you for your time in Advance :)

I will have to agree on

1st-Hero's Defiance,Divine Favor. And Swift Girding is a life saving spell for a Paladin and probably the group.

2nd-Litany of Litany of Righteousness, Paladin's Sacrifice. NOT remove Paralysis. You do not have that many spells to waste one on that. You can get scrolls.

3rd-Deadly Juggernaut for massive combats, Sanctify Armor for boss like fights.I still Wont agree on Remove Curse-Remove Blindness/Deadness especially when there are chances for you to take more levels on the Cleric side.

4th- IT really depends on how you play up to this level. But if you do not have a Holy weapon, Holy Sword is a stable choice as Crosswind and Angel already pointed out.

I wouldnt say cure moderate is a must have, rather a poor choice. He is an archer, thus not getting much into danger. Thus why waste a spell known like that while wands exist for that reason.

There is a pretty interesting combo you can perform with Bloodhound,a 2nd level spell which provides you with the special "Scent" ability.
Combined with Pheromone Arrows ( which are quite cheap for the task )you
can get a +2 attck / + 2 dmg while having Bloodhound on (the damage stacks with the rest of your bonuses.).
Plus it is a spell that lasts for 1hour/lvl and you can pretty much have it on you all the time.
Plus it works great as a utility spell as well.

Other than that it depends...
Do you have strong Wisdom modifier? You can try spells that are useful in almost any circumstance, either in fighting (Hold Person) or in times of role playing (Detect Thoughts). But remember you are not primarily a caster so the DC that enemies have to overcome for an inquisitor is usually low.

I would suggest not to choose Flames of the Faithful or Weapons of Awe as you already have to waste many rounds buffing for spells that wont really last long to enjoy the fight. The difficulty playing Inquisitor is all about timing your buffing abilities well so you can get early in fight and unleash your burst damage which after level 5 is supreme.

Invisibility would be the greatest option as the utility it offers is irreplaceable both in combat or role playing situations..And i believe balancing between those two factors is where the class of Inquisitor gets strong and the reason you can enjoy playing it.

Remember that if you are Human you can get extra spells known as a favored class option. That means later on you will have the chance to pick almost every spell you deem worthy.

See invisibility is a great choice as well as far as i am concerned but for now it could wait.

Concerning Silence.I would pick it after Invisibility and See invisibility or between them for one sole reason.Although its pretty awesome, remember that you are an archer..And there is not a better way in Pathfinder , to counter a caster.Ready action Attack VS Casting is more effective counter. So yes..very useful but don't you agree it can wait until later on as well?

Lesser Restoration is something you can always have on scrolls
as Remove paralysis.Sure it can save you but does it have to burn up a slot in your spells known list?Do you have a cleric in your party? It is his job most of the time and he doesn't lose anything for it.You do.

Concluding you should take in mind as well the way you want to play your Inquisitor and act accordingly. The color you can give on your character can be made by the choices of spells you know. You can be infiltrator, detective, stone cold archer,Prey hunter,or the voice of your church mostly is up to you.

PS: Blistering Invective is one of the most badass spells out there. Its a shame not to get it some time RP wise, with your Inquisitor. And the DC can get really high to overcome,so its always handy.
