Can anyone tell me a monster of 5 CR or less that has a great save or die? I am playing an evil campaign and I might soon get a unit of pugwhampi under my command if all goes well. I would like to get some monsters that can take advantage of their un-luck aura. Is there is anything that can turn other creature invisible at will that would be cool too.
We are level 8 the 5 cr is not a hard limit I'm just trying to be practical.

It's a higher CR (8), but Gorgon would seem to fit what you're looking for. It has a breath weapon that causes petrification. The stoning is temporary (they get a save each round to break free) until they get hit by the breath weapon again. Three gorgons and a troop of Pugwampis would be a nearly guaranteed Mass Flesh to Stone.

You could also do it with a Basilisk, but it'd be hard to keep the Pugwampis out of the gaze..
Pugwampis pair well with animals since they are immune to their unluck aura, so I think the worst of these would be a Venomous Snake Swarm (Bestiary 3). You have two saves every turn that are under the effects of unluck, one of which is against Constitution damage. Not save or die, but pretty effective. Leech swarms would be good for aquatic environments.
The closest save or die effects you're gonna get besides petrification or poison are Ghouls (paralysis) and Sandman (Bestiary 2). The latter has an aura of sleep which can be save or die if there's something within coup-de-grace range.

Not a save or die, but Mummies are brutal when the players have to re-roll to get worse results on saves. They're bad on their own, but when I get two chances to fail my save vs paralysis and mummy rot, I start crying. Mummy Rot is also pretty brutal, and they have good to hit and damage and defense stats.
