So, I saw that some enchantments are not a +1 Bonus cost, but a constant monetary value. This one (Adaptive) is only 1,000 and completely negates the need for a str. bonus to a composite bow. So, is the minimum cost of a weapon with this enchant 1,400 or is it 3,400?
Do I need to enchant it with a +1 to add the Adaptive enchant to it?
A magic weapon must have at least a +1 enhancement before any special abilities are applied to it. Fixed-cost enchantments don't change that.
