So I'm trying to decide on which magic item would be the most beneficial to my character at this time and I'm kind of stuck.
currently I'm sitting on a little over 2,000 gp with a CG cleric at 4th lvl and I'm trying to decide on whether I want to grab a ring of protection +1, a handy haversack, or a cold iron weapon (likely a morning star or sickle).
the ring of protection would help shore up his poor touch AC (DEX is 10)
The handy haversack would help alleviate the worries of carrying capacity and keeping track of my mule who is carrying large amounts of extra gear.
finally I need a new side arm weapon to replace my mundane sickle would be a nice addition for those encounters where I need a new damage type or have something to use in a grapple.
Anyone have any advice?

As a melee cleric:
616 - Masterwork Cold Iron Morningstar
750 - Wand of Shield of Faith (+2 deflection AC bonus)
250 - 10x Scrolls of Ant Haul (triple carrying capacity for an hour)
386 gold left over to frolic and play in the clerical way!
If you are a caster cleric, I think the Handy Haversack stuffed with a horde of scrolls and wands is a good way to go. Spend 16 gold on a cold iron morningstar and call it good.

Hmm I never thought of the shield on stick option, that's actually pretty brillant and would save me that spell slot I'm always using for it. Does anyone know if the deflect bonus from that spell stacks with the ring of protection?
I might get a quick draw sheath and load that in there for easy access and pick up the morningstar to round out my gear.
Ohh as for build he is a CG cleric of Groetus built as a summoner. As it stands right now though he usually plays the first couple of encounters as a buff then wade in tank and slowly switches into said summoner role as the mission goes on. Been quite fun so far to watch BBEG go into shock as they realize he's been holding back most of his skills for just that occasion.

A ring of protection and Shield of Faith do NOT stack as they are both deflection bonuses.

Just a quick correction--the Cold Iron Morningstar would only cost 316, not 616. The cost of the masterwork quality is not doubled when making a cold iron weapon. For proof, look in the core rulebook => magic items => specific magic weapons, at the masterwork cold iron longsword for 330 gold.
Longsword, Cold Iron Masterwork
Aura no aura (nonmagical); CL —
Slot none; Price 330 gp; Weight 4 lbs.
DESCRIPTION
This nonmagical longsword is crafted out of cold iron. As a masterwork weapon, it has a +1 enhancement bonus on attack rolls.
Just to save you that extra little bit of gold, should you go for a masterwork one.

Drat well at least that will free up a spell slot for other spells which will be greatly appreciated. think I'll pick up the wand, a spring loaded wrist sheath, and the morning star and see where the rest of my funds are sitting at.
If most of your foes are evil, consider a wand of protection from evil instead (+2 deflection bonus to AC and +2 resistance bonus to saves), as it offers other applications as well (wards against evil summoned creatures and can help against enchantments).

Thanks unfortunately I'm a Groetus cleric so no proficiency T-T.
As for the pro evil want that might work too since this is a character for PFS and those things do show up. Unfortunately I think I'm more inclined right now toward the shield option since the worry of something beating my AC is what I'm looking for currently. That being said I will probably pick one of those up later to supplement my needs.
