RotRL character advice

Advice

I'm going to be playing RotRL this thursday and I just wanted some advice on my the character I've made.

I'm playing as a Changeling Dual-Cursed Oracle + Barbarian into Rage Prophet. The rest of the party is a Fighter/Ninja/Assassin, a Sorcerer, and the last is unknown. I'm either going to be NG or NE, for various personal reasons.

We're starting at level 1 with a 15 point buy in. My mystery is Lore (for Sidestep Secret to get Charisma to AC and Reflex saves), my curses are Wolfscarred Face and Lame (for bite attack and immunity to fatigue so I can rage cycle). I focus in natural weapons, my stats look like this.

STR 16
DEX 7
CON 14-2
INT 10
WIS 9+2
CHA 14+2

I took the adopted racial trait (part of my back story) to gain the bonus feat from humans, and the reactionary trait so my initiative wasn't negative. My two feats are Toughness and Mother's Gift (Hag Claws).

We're skipping the first part of chapter 1, so we've all started with 500 gold to buy stuff with. My big purchases are a buckler and chain shirt, with a bunch of other stuff thrown in there for utility.

My next level will definitely be into Barbarian for fast movement and rage. I will be 4 Oracle / 2 Barbarian by level 6 and then I'll start into Rage Prophet. I'm using Changeling favored class bonus to raise my effective oracle level for determining the effects of my curses so I will gain immunity to fatigue and d6 bite by level 6. My second revelation will be either Focused Trance or Misfortune.

Thoughts, opinions, criticism?

Liberty's Edge

You can never trade a trait for a feat - the adopted trait gives you a race trait, as in the things that you get two of at first level, not a race feature like a human bonus feat.

Wolfscarred face is terrible, especially when you could get animal fury from barbarian. It does, however, work well with being deaf.
"You have a severe speech impediment, and any spells you cast with a verbal component have a 20% chance of failing, wasting your action but not expending the spell. You gain a natural bite attack that deals 1d4 points of damage if you are a Medium creature or 1d3 points of damage if you are Small."

You probably want medium armor, agile breastplate or regular, and I you need to trade off the claw attack penalty for having a buckler vs the benefit of 1 ac when you aren't attacking. I wouldn't bother honestly.

I assume you are a hulking changeling for extra damage?

Knowledge checks are often critical for identifying monster weaknesses and strengths, and you don't have time to trance. I would take Lorekeeper instead.

Dualcursed doesn't advance one of your curses. You can't get a better bite attack and rage cycle. You also lose all the knowledge skills as class skills - just stick with single curse lame. Misfortune is awesome however. Instead of being a lore oracle who doesn't know anything, why not nature? Nature's whispers gives you AC, the class skills are more redundant with barbarian, and thematically I think it works *much* better.

Trait thing: Yeah... thought it worked that way. I'll fix that.

I understand the 20% failure sucks, I'll deal with that. I might pick up mithral breastplate later when i get the chance.

I forgot about the -1 to hit with a buckler, I may reconsider that.

I misread the Dual Curse thing, I'll be dropping Lame in that case. I won't be raging much anyway. It's also why I took Wolfscarred Face, because I won't have many rounds to use my bite attack, and I'll be getting higher dice damage

I am using the hulking changeling race feature.

The Nature revelation doesn't give me bonuses to reflex saves, which is a weak save for me.
