Dr Frankenstein character creation

Advice

I'm looking for any advice as to what class/archtype I could use to create a character that specializes in creating patchwork golem-like minions (ala Frankenstein's monster or smaller) to do his bidding. Has anyone explored this route before?

Sounds like a classic Alchemist, sp. Reanimator or Vivisectionist.

Oddly enough golems are more of a wizards gig. Its item creation and alchemist don't really get into that stuff I guess.

Herbert West style reanimation is much more the reanimators gig. I think Vivesectionist is Jack the Ripper or Dr. Moreau.

Cant a Summoner make their pet Undead?

Sort of. The fluff will be very outsidery. Undead Appearance changes it in many ways to be similar to undead, thought its type remains outsider and it is still an eidolon.

Yeah. I've been looking around and can't find anything to support such a character concept. Hmm. Thanks for the input.

Also on topic, how does a wizard create a golem?

Start with this feat.

Nevermind. Found it.
