Errata Included?

Product Discussion

Hello.

I am thinking of starting up with Pathfinder. The obvious first purchases are the core rules and the monster manual. I got as far as the rules' page, and saw that it has several sets of errata.

Are these for the PDF or those who purchased the printed books? I am hoping that when you buy and download the PDF, it has the errata included in it. Does it?

Thanks.

Later printings of the books also feature the errata. In general, Paizo is pretty decent at incorporating errata, unlike some other companies (*cough*catalyst*cough*).

Thanks.

Yup errata is only published when a new edition of the book is bring prepare d to go to the printer and is incorporated into that printing

Just make sure you get the latest printing of the book. Depending where you get it, it may not be the latest printing (like Amazon).

if you buy it from paizo you get the newest printing of the book

outlander78,

Since you were asking specifically about PDFs: Whenever we release a new printing of a book, we update the PDF to match that printing, and we let anybody who has access to that PDF know that they can then download the updated version.
