Versatile Performance (String) and Taunt (Feat)

Scarab Sages

I am pretty sure that nobody would see anything wrong with a bard using Versatile Performance (String) and using that skill in place of Intimidate as well by having the Taunt feat. Right? (a PC that qualifies for the feat of course)

I'm just picturing a bard being in combat and busting out his violin to play the "Wa wa" sound to taunt a bunch of Orcs.

I don't see a problem with it. Using violin expertise to bluff someone into thinking your terrifying.

When using Versatile Performance, the Bard isn't actually performing, so no need to whip out the violin.
