Why does everyone Hate Sheilia Heidmarch?
Because, like Drandle Dreng and Adrim Hestril, her primary concern is with the completion of the mission, and she doesn't care how many Pathfinders fall by the wayside.
Dreng is known for waking Pathfinders at 2 am, and sending them off on urgent missions, that have to be completed without delay, that he has known about for weeks or even months before he sends his lackeys (that's us, boys and girls) on their way.
Hestril is known for using Pathfinders to bail out his personal friends, or make up with former friends, no matter the cost to the Society, or his agents.
Heidmarch tends toward the cold-blooded, as well, tending to send Pathfinders against enemies a bit over their heads, and being much too concerned with Thassilonian legends and artifacts than normal. Honestly, I am not 100% sure, but I am fairly sure that if a Pathfinder were to show up with a piece of a Sihedron, they could convince Mrs. Heidmarch to do almost anything for them.
Of course, people also forget that most of the VCs and others who assign tasks to Pathfinders tend to be as cold-blooded, unless they are simply insanely absentminded or just plain insane. After all, there is at least one scenario where Grandmaster Torch, not the warmest individual himself, has to actually give the Pathfinders an explanation of the mission that they were just given by the Master of Scrolls.

All of it. Nevermore the tengu monk, even though he is Shadow Lodge, does not want to think about it. He is tempted to take a vow of blindness just for these situations.

This calls for a 1 level dip into Oracle with the Blind curse, and never approach within 31' of GMT. ;)
Upside: At least you can use those wands of Cure Light Wounds that proliferate out there.
Downside: Sucks if you are a primarily ranged combatant...

There's an idea!
If it wasn't for the huge downside to multiclassing monk, that might be neat.
