qinggong-monk rules

Rules Questions

Hi
I've read a bit into monk arechtypes and stumbled upon the qinggong monk rules.

I'm a bit unsure about that one though (as in to how to interpret the rules).

Are all 11 class abilities (slow fall - perfect body) automatically deleted and instead you can gain 1 ki-power each when you would gain this ability?

Or do you decide when you would get that power (example slow fall) that you still have it or switch it out against a ki-power (although permanently also).

Furthermore "which often replaces a non-ki monk ability such as purity of body" is mentioned even though purity of body is not in the list of replace(able?) class abilities. Does that mean I can switch out even these abilities for additional ki-powers?

Like I said I'm a bit confused tehre on how to interpret the rules there.
Tnx

You decide when you get the power if you want the power or the original ability.

Ok so I choose. Only those 11 or also other monk powers wher I can choose? (as those 11 powers are mentioned explicitely, but later in the text a monk power is mentioned that is not part of those 11)

Shadow Lodge

Ryue, I FAQ'd that same question as well and it has not been addressed yet. I would advocate being conservative, assume that it is an error and that Purity of Body is NOT a valid swap out.

Hi Sammy as long as I get no answer I will handle it the same.
Although I'm not so sure if it was an error or not as it is stated in a part about NON ki powers being interchangeable.
(currently I'll like I said leave it at only those 11 being interchangeable).
