same thougt here and with propaganda it would be they wouldnt need to know about the order itself only that the jedi were attacked due to their actions against the republic but in reality james martins call there^^

not srue about the message I remember him warning them to NOT come back but he didnt know about anakin nor the emperor as far as I remember at that time

ok if I put up the background tomorrow and today only the stats,..? Need to mull over a few things for the background stil

Starting creds: 3d4 ⇒ (4, 4, 4) = 12

As I've got no experience with starwars so far not sure but if I go by comparison with pathfinder it could be that the free feat and free talend would be as much as increasing the level of the character by half a level to a full level (in terms of efficiency for the character).

going to post mine later today need to still look up a few things in the rulebook first

@Spaz: Correct

@Devian: I also commented on them^^ they sound interesting but a few of them I'm not sure how they would work with a forums game. In addition to that the force users update make them sound like sorcerers in pathfinder where I'm not sure if they become too powerful that way in star wars. Sadly Got no playing experience so far with star wars saga so not sure how the base force user is compared to a non force user.

I'll then make a character as soon as you decide there

that is just why I ask so taht I know how to create the char ^^

The pdf rules sound interesting. Shall we already create chars including those rules or with the normal rules?

I'm thinking about a jedi character (could be that he just lost his master, got there an old charidea of mine but I'm able to adapt)

Sounds interesting

Got an idea for a sorcerer taininim
3d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 5, 4) + 6 = 16
3d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 6, 5) + 6 = 20
3d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 5, 3) + 6 = 19
3d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 5, 6) + 6 = 20
3d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 6, 1) + 6 = 19
3d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 4, 6) + 6 = 17

ah tnx

Can variant tiefling abilities be taken without having to take the feat
"Fiendish Heritage" ?
Or is that feat a must to be able to roll on the table?

tnx

Hi Sammy as long as I get no answer I will handle it the same.
Although I'm not so sure if it was an error or not as it is stated in a part about NON ki powers being interchangeable.
(currently I'll like I said leave it at only those 11 being interchangeable).

Ok so I choose. Only those 11 or also other monk powers wher I can choose? (as those 11 powers are mentioned explicitely, but later in the text a monk power is mentioned that is not part of those 11)

Hi
I've read a bit into monk arechtypes and stumbled upon the qinggong monk rules.

I'm a bit unsure about that one though (as in to how to interpret the rules).

Are all 11 class abilities (slow fall - perfect body) automatically deleted and instead you can gain 1 ki-power each when you would gain this ability?

Or do you decide when you would get that power (example slow fall) that you still have it or switch it out against a ki-power (although permanently also).

Furthermore "which often replaces a non-ki monk ability such as purity of body" is mentioned even though purity of body is not in the list of replace(able?) class abilities. Does that mean I can switch out even these abilities for additional ki-powers?

Like I said I'm a bit confused tehre on how to interpret the rules there.
Tnx

Ah now I understand. Thanks a lot there. I knew I overread something there the whole time.

Thanks again.

Exactly that is what I meant thus it has the 1min/lvl limitation for the change?

I was wondering there as as a spell ok I can see that. But as a spelllike ability it looked like a very short timespan to me that they can have a fully human shape for example. That is how I became unsure if I overread or misinterpreted something.

Ah tnx.

Thus creatures like gold dragons that have "cahnge shape (Su)" use that rule while others like kitsune have the normal spelllike ability that has the normal alter self duration?

Hi
I've read a bit into different mosnters (example gold dragons) and also races (like kitsune) that have spelllike abilities like polymorph, alter self, ...

And I'm wondering there. Do these spelllike abilities still have the same duration limiations as the spells they are based upon?

I'm asking there as then a very young gold dragon could "only" take on a humanoid form for about 30 minutes per day (and older ones up to 1-2 hours) which doesn't sound very good if they want to enter a village for example. Thus I'm wondering if I interpret there something wrong with the spellike abilities (as the above durations are based upon the times per day they can use this ability and the typical duration of it).
