Urban Ranger clarification

Rules Questions

Instead of entering a normal rage, the urban ranger can get a +4 morale bonus to one physical ability score, or divide that in +2 increments.

Question 1: Can he still rage normally?

Question 2: While in a controlled rage, can he shift that bonus around, or must he decide what the bonus is when he enters the rage, and keep it till he's done raging?

You mean Urban Barbarian, right?

ummmmmmmmm yeah

The writing suggests that you can still enter a normal rage. As for the shifting bonus, I don't think so, but it's not clearly written.

this is one time, i will admit the it's ambigeous and there is no real way to figure out the intent or as written.

1. instead- can be either inclusive or exclusive in this context, no real way to tell. they needed a "choose to" or "must" to modify what happens after instead.

2. as to question two, you have to end your rage and restart, if you want to switch bonuses. the reason why this is clear is because you have to select the bonus when you "enter rage". therefore the only way to enter rage if you are already eneraged, is to end it and restart. this archtype benefits greatly from the various means of making yourself immune to fatigue.
