I recently acquired the Fantasy AGE System that's based on. I've been thinking of attempting to run a low-magic campaign with it. Provided of course I ever get it planned out of course.

I finally got an appointment to see a new OB that has nothing to do with stupid UAMS. It's not until January 25th, but I feel really hopeful since that's right before our 13th anniversary. It's time.

Henry's poor wittle foot. He had a bad blister on the bottom of one of his feet and today it busted and ball of his foot is all purple and bad looking and sore so I made him take a bath and soak it in epsom salts, lavender and chamomile. I sat on the edge of the tube and soaked my feet and ankles while we talked. Used a new pumice sponge on the rest of the part of his feet and gave my hard working baby a foot massage after he rubbed my calves. It really was mutually beneficial, but we really need a bigger bath so I can just sit in it with him. I was able to take care of my feet as well while we sat there and chatted though, so there's that.
He just thought that I couldn't make him take an actual bath, so I had to prove him wrong. Hehe

Of course we have no way of knowing what might happen, but I'm hoping the OB at least listens to me and tries to do things that will actually help me. I know that I'm not in the absolute best condition of my life....but I feel like I can just stand by and do nothing and be all laid back about it anymore.
We'll just have to wait and see what happens. I just don't want to get my hopes up too much.

I don't like whiskey...it's gross. A good friend made me drink a real hot tottie one time cuz I was super super sick and it was the nastiest thing I had ever put in my mouth. I vowed I would never have whiskey again...never ever. Gross gross gross.
Aside from all that my hypoglycemia doesn't allow for drinking. Soooo....there's that. Besides...back in the day when I used to drink I prefer things like gamma slammers and so on and so forth. That's when the restaurants at Universal City Walk were actually good.

Sorry...but cats do that ya know? Sometimes we come home and Ella has dug all the trash out of my little can in the bedroom...she doesn't do it all the time but it's a pain in the ass when she does. How you react to it is a choice though. You can choose to let it ruin the rest of your night, or you can simply clean it up and move on. It's just kitty vomit...right? Not flesh melting acid?
When one of my old roommates cats does that the other usually cleans it up after awhile.
Point is, it ruined my buzz. Arrrgh.

That's easy enough to solve, just go drink some more. I'm drinking too....blue kool aid...but I'm drinking. I'm also having trouble breathing...through my nose that is. I'm starting to feel all gunked up again and I'm sure it's because I'm back to doing a bunch of stuff I probably shouldn't be doing instead of resting and actually getting better. All the children coughing, sneezing and having temperatures around me isn't helping much either though. I think I'm just gonna have to accept the fact that I'm gonna be sick off and on for the rest of my life and get over it.
