Message Board - Hiding Woes

Website Feedback

This has happened about 10 times now, when I go to hide a topic, (mostly trollol or RotRL) it instead hides another one.

It's a known bug that they're working on. Basically, what seems to be happening is that when you click on the hide button, it uses the current position on your page and hides that position from the most up to date version of the page, which sometimes isn't your current page.

Ways I've mitigated it is by going directly to the forum with the post to hide, refreshing the page, and then clicking the hide button. And then hope no one has posted in that forum before you click the hide button.

i went to the expanded list of boards, and manually nixxed the RotRL ones, be nice if there was a way to (temporarily at least) hide the forum itself.

You can collapse the RotRL forum by clicking on the little arrow next to it.

I'm having a hiding issue on my campaigns tab. Everytime I hide previous campaigns I want to hide, they unhide everytime I return to the site. Every once in awhile I have to reset it because of normal technology cycle stuff, but it's gone from like every couple months to a couple times every day that I have to do it.

Yeah, the hide function has never worked properly on Previous Campaigns. Fortunately, they're all small down there at the bottom of the page, but they just won't stay hidden.

I've just figured out what the problem is with hiding previous campaigns. This bug will be fixed the next time we roll the website.
