You don't need a RAW answer because I wrote the spell and gave an answer back in 2010, which Cheapy quoted.

So it is diallowed because Monks: I was correct for the reason?

It's disallowed because: Masterwork bodyparts, seriously?

While enchantable Monks at regular price would be beyond neato, this is a weird way to go about it.

No, it's disallowed because there's no masterwork equivalent of unarmed strikes, like SKR said.

If you don't like the ruling, say so. But responding by accusing people of having an ulterior motive (such as an agenda against monks) is a textbook example of how to violate the "don't be a jerk" rule.

Masterwork Transformation by RAW does not work on items that do not have masterwork equivalents, i.e. that cannot be made masterwork by another means. As unarmed strike cannot be made masterwork by other means, then the spell doesn't work, I'm afraid.

Don't get me wrong, I really think the monk needs a more serious power-up than it has so far been given, but this isn't a work-around available by RAW to that problem. I'm hoping that with some feedback on the changes made to the monk, the Paizo guys will consider a few more small steps to resolve the monk's problems.

Edit: ninja'd by Jiggy.

Wow...so you even want to argue with the designers on their own rulings and make up the reasons on your own as to why? Sir I would love to have your address so I can send you an award...you probably won't like what its and award for...but it will be an award none the less
