yeah, but lots of times getting online is inconvenient. Physical copies also let you put notes in the margins, like page numbers to flick to for conditions etc, or even corrections.

finally, I can't haul my desktop PC all over the place. and only ONE person at a time can use it. Books can be passed around, and most gamers are poor so they can't afford a fancy smartphone.

Do you have a printer? If the answer is no does anyone you game with have a printer?

Libraries often allow you to print for free.

depends on how much they charge. Can't print out an entire book!

I usually print out key points. I then place them in sheet protectors, and into a binder.

I tab them for easy access.

Smaller, and easier to reference than a book.
