M Hafling

its not a spell effect

Elf

Uhura attacks again

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16

1 more nonlethal damage, DC 10 fort again. If your viper is not augmented it should be dying now. But I think it is (would explain the damage).

M Hafling

Arbiter:
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

10 fort save the vipers still kicking

Elf

It's her turn then :)

M Hafling

Arbiter:
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (16) + 16 = 32

to maintain grapple
32
Arbiter:
1d2 ⇒ 2

2 more damage and another dc 10 fort from Uhura

Elf

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15

She's looking bad but still running :)

Inen passes out a few turns ago :P

M Hafling

right before that last color spray
er hold on experiencing technical difficulty

Elf

Kirk grabs 2 flasks of acid, casts a spell and fires a small orb of acid at you.

Arbiter:

Use both acid flasks as alchemical power components.

Attack

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

I assume 23 should hit your touch armor (even with the cover of the pillar at F5).

Damage:

Arbiter:

1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

4 acid damage.

Move south behind the Pillars afterwards.

Arbiter:

I3

Just disregard my earlier comment, Inen is still up as of last round.

M Hafling

okay so Inen takes 4 damage, it's a hit.
Inen obviously burned and in pain lunges into f6 in an attempt to get a shot at Kirk

assuming line of sight

Arbiter:
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

25 hits
1 damage and dc 14 save please

Elf

You probably can move in a way so you can see me.

Fort save:

Arbiter:

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

11

So I finally succumb :(
what do your darts do?

M Hafling

then i will stumble there and shoot you, save?

Elf

Arg, sry, accidentally edited again, see my last post.

M Hafling

Excellent !!!! at last!!

Arbiter:
1d3 ⇒ 3

unconscious for 3 hrs and 1 con damage

Elf

Wait, but I think I get a save against the unconsciousness next round (if your poison is blue whinnis and you did no shenaningans).

M Hafling

that is correct

Elf

And I still need to know how you moved :)

Uhura attacks the viper:

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

... and misses

M Hafling

Viper goes for the kill!....maybe

Arbiter:
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

21 to hit

the grapple is still maintained

Arbiter:
1d2 ⇒ 2

4 more damage and dc 10 fort

Elf

Uhura is dead.

lets see the fort save...

Arbiter:

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

9

You got me. You're up.

[edit]Oh wait, and you still take acid damage :)

Arbiter:

1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

nice, another 4 :)

[edit2] Do I fall at the end or at the start of my turn?

M Hafling

also damn you almost have me

I walk back to L10 retrieve my candle and incense staff and return to your body planting the staff above your head and plant it in the ground, blowing out the candles, I say "Another light falls to me" and impale you with my spear.

Elf

Sry, another edit

M Hafling

at the start

Elf

"At the next frequency interval (your next turn for 1/round poisons, 1 minute later for 1/minute, next day for 1/day) you must make a save on your turn (at any point during your turn - you must still make this save if you choose to delay)."

Seems like I could still have made my turn if I chose to delay... dang...

M Hafling

want to play it out?

Elf

That would be nice. There really is no point in taking the DC first (you always learn something new in these rules).

I'd try to cast another spell at you, readying two flasks of acid again.

Arbiter:

Ranged touch

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Ouch, an 8 probably does not hit your touch AC right (it would be kind of unfair tbh)?

M Hafling

okay so unless your final shenanigans gets me

Elf

I fall unconscious, your move?

M Hafling

I proceed to do the above

I walk back to L10 retrieve my candle and incense staff and return to your body planting the staff above your head and plant it in the ground, blowing out the candles, I say "Another light falls to me" and impale you with my spear.

Elf

How long does it take you to coup de grace me?

Sorry, I'm serious, I need to know how many rounds it will take you, and we need to roll it out.

M Hafling

less then an hour 2 rounds

M Hafling

1st round I retrieve my staff
2nd round I plant it over your head
and to drag it out 3rd round I kill you

Elf

Squish....

Good fight! And I think a pretty close one too. That were quite some saves to make/fail :)

M Hafling

Oh my god yes, and that was the last of my blue whinnis that finally got you, and curses taking the Hound down right out of the gate

Elf

DC 16 Will is nothing to sneeze at. And you took 3 of them like a champ :)

Good find with those poisoned darts, I will have to steal the idea, sorry :)

M Hafling

as long as you buy them poisoned you can avoid poisoning yourself
also screw your spells, you almost had me right in the beginning I wasn't sure how to go with out the Hound

I want to give Inen props for some very nice character choices. The saves against the DC 16s was not due to lucky rolling.

Elf

Psst! Don't spoil it ;) now I won't try that again.

I just thought about a halfling summoner with max cha (for that dc 16 daze monster) and decent dex (there were some really good ranged attack rolls frequently hitting my decent AC) would not be able to have a really high will.
But I only play with Core+APG so there are a lot of options I'm not aware of. Surely I'm mistaken about the summoner thing.
