All of the images in the books are the property of Paizo and any website that uses them (other than the images that have been previewed on the Paizo Blog) would be violating Paizo's copyright.
However, for your own personal use, you can copy and select the images in your own copy of a pdf. See some of the previous threads where information concerning this has come up.

The only method I have found to reliably work, and not get the fuzzy black background on each image is to use Adobe Acrobat Pro (not reader).
Tools -> Document Processing -> Export All Images.
I grab them as PNG's and this is the only method I found that actually gives me the clear backgrounds around each character and monster which is what I wanted. This however did not work as of NPC Codex in which case all the images were attached to the page backgrounds...much to my chagrin.

I am using it for my personal use. I am going to display it on my computer screen I'am just tired of finding it in the hard copy and opeing the book and holding it up for everyone. So thanks for your help. May be one day Paizo will make then avaiable as JPEG or something like Wizards of the Coast did.

This won't help all of your needs, but you can also use the various avatar images. As I go through the messageboards I pay attention to the avatars. When I see one that I need (or think I will need) for Maptools, I right-click-save, and some time later I gather them all up and put them in my maptools folder.
For Maptools this works great. Ocassionally these images pop up in my screen saver (cause that's the folder I save images to)and those images are fuzzy.
Depending on what you need, this may or may not be helpful.

Oh nos! That is the method I use too but I haven't gotten around to adding the NPC Codex to my picture files.
Was this the case with both the full and lite versions?
