My GM and other players have come up with a campaign scenario in which we are a band or traveling troupe, if you prefer.
We will start as 2nd level characters with the caveat of 1 of the levels as bard.
I thought of making a gnome bard/heavens oracle due to the synergy of the both classes being charisma based and becuase the heavens oracle sounds awesome.
If anyone has any advice on the build it would be greatly appreciated or if you have a different concept I would love to hear it.
Thanks in advance.

Usually the forum-goers have specific advice. But as nobody seems to have responded yet, the best I can do is point you in the direction of general advice:

I have to ask the question, why bards? Bards are not the only performers in the game, almost anyone can take the skills if they wish.

I am not sure as why bards have to be one of the first two levels of the character.... I was voted down.
I believe the bard can be a good class but not for us, we seem to be less skill monkey and more combat. I tried a non multiclassed bard before and was underwhelmed.
I am switching from gnome to aasimar. Going with heavens oracle and going to make the guy look like a young Robert Plant and only sing "Stairway to Heaven".

You could make an alchemist freak show, or a barbarian strongman, or a dervish dancer ( performer), or a magician bard, knife thrower, whip master, Druid or ranger animal handler. Lots of options that don't require bard or multiclassing combo... Ask your DM to make a performance skill mandatory instead.
