Flair for Combat:
Combat is an instinctive thing for you, even if you haven't been classically trained as a warrior.
Your BAB counts as 1 higher for the purposes of qualifying for combat feats and other abilities. It does not affect your attack or combat manuever rolls.

What d'ya think. eh? Pretty cool?

I dunno... maybe a fighter could use it... I'd use it if it actually worked as it does most often... I'd DEFINITELY use it then, but that's not what it's for. In the end, the only use I see is as an Arcane Archer prerequisite.
It is cool though. Good idea.
Actually it was born from all of those 3/4 BAB classes like Bards and Rogues who can't qualify for many combat feats at 1st level - basic things like Weapon Focus that oftentimes themselves serve as pre-requisites for yet other feats... this can push feat progression back two levels which is a lot when you're trying to create a concept you like.
Its not over-powered but its useful for a wide variety of characters from the martial to the not-so martial. I think its great.

You're right, it is very annoying to not be able to qualify for BAB +1 feats from the start, especially as a human.
However, I suggest adding the phrase "your effective BAB cannot exceed your character level." BAB is one of those things like skill ranks that is really expected to have a hard cap of character level, so feats with a BAB +X prerequisite really assume that you have a character level of X or greater. I would not want to mess with that assumption.

I think that is a very good point.
I'm looking at it though, and it seems like most of the combat feats that are actually concerned about limiting itself to characters of a specific level make the point of requiring a character (or class) level to take it... there's nothing that requires a +21 BAB so it wouldn't affect full martials, and 3/4 martials would never get the opportunity to have their BAB exceed their character level.
Still want to tread carefully though - I love the idea of this trait, but I don't want it set up for abuse.

Best buy your DM some very expensive chocolate...!
I'm playing a fighter/ranger in Kingmaker who, from her inception, intends to become a Duelist. The pre-requisite that matters is BAB 6+.
If this was an available trait I'd definately have taken it, and I'd qualify to be a Duelist one level early, as no other requirement would stop me.

Sounds fair to me. Duelist takes too long to do too little as it stands; entering a level early (and at the cost of +2 initiative or whatever other combat trait you'd have taken instead) isn't breaking anything.
Oooh that is pretty nice. ALMOST broken, concidering what a rogue cam do
Yeah it's pretty broken with rogues since it allows them to do the following overpowered things:
