Is there any future chance of a GIANT sized map of the Inner Sea World? While not everyone would purchase such a map it would be fantastic. I'd jump at the chance for a - preferable rolled canvas with more detail than the current Inner Sea World Map Pack - huge rendition of the world.
GaleForce9 makes some like the “Eberron–Continent of Khorvaire” Vinyl Campaign Map 30” x 42."
Something even bigger, of course, would be lovely :)
Just curious. Thanks in advance for any insights you can offer.

Check this out.
Thanks, Silver! I have that map. And now you think I'm a hair splitting map-o-holic. It may be true, but I'm just giddy about the prospect of a map (that size or bigger) in once piece that could be hanged from the wall. My wife would never let me put it in the bedroom but I'd find a spot for it!

Then I guess you also know about this one. If so, then I don't understand what you are wanting.

My suggestion is to by the PDF version of it and take it to a printer (for paper) or a sign maker (for canvas). The FAQ has an entry you should print out to prove you can make a copy for personal use

I have the maps from the Inner Sea Poster Map Folio hanging from my wall. I stuck two strips of magnetic tape to the wall (your wife might not like that either!) and attached the map pieces to the strips with magnets.
Using magnets also allows me to hang other maps over the top of it when I want another map instead.

Here's one (although it's an old thread):
Any possibility of a large vinyl map of Golarion?
Here's a guy who printed his own:
Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Inner Sea Poster Map Folio#172
I could have sworn there was another, more recent thread on the subject, though. One that specifically referred to Gale Force 9.

Now that you mention it, it would be seriously awesome to have one of those stylized globes in a stand that sits on the floor.
Like this, maybe, but Golarion-ized. It would be even cooler to have one that looked antique. It'll never happen as a product, but I bet it could be made, given enough cash ... not that I could do such a thing. :)

I don't have it in Vinyl, but I have access to a large format plotter at the University I work at. I was able to print it off at 42" x 66" (I believe that's what it worked out to be... I had to fit it to paper). It's huge! I love it. I also printed out the Map Folio and have them in clear plastic sleeves for transportation. They work out to be about 20" x 30" (which works great for the 22" x 30" clear plastic art archival sleeves).
Just use the single file PDF from the Map Folio and take it to someone that makes signs. They can handle the large size easily and should be your most competitive price. Canvas might be a bit dicey unless you know someone.
Grommets are very nice on top and bottom (top for nails, bottom so you can weight it... like tassels on tapestries).
Getting approval to hang it? Well, that's where your Charisma roll comes into play. Good luck!
As for a map of all of Golarion (or even a seperate map that showed an expanded set of the mini map that is vaguely referenced), I would buy that as well. I would have to move my dresser to hang it beside my Inner Sea poster, but that would be totally awesome!
If you've never seen them in person, they are an amazing resource for looking up locations which can be helpful when writing. Canvas would be my preference, but when I can print it for free on photo paper, I'll take that... lol
Even if we only got the PDF copy of an expanded version, I would buy it (personally, I'd pay way more than I paid for the map folio to own one). That's for the designers, not the bean counting blood sucking lawyers... heh heh

If we're talking globes that won't be made - why not up the stakes one setting and have it be a relief one, so we can tell which mountain ranges are Himalayas, and which are puny Scandes/Appalachean* mountains.
*If I remember correctly, at least some geologists say the Appalaches, the Scottish Highlands, and the Scandes were originally part of the same mountain range - before the North American continent decided it wanted to date other landmasses, that is.

Why not?
