Ok Monks bonus movement is an Enhancement bonus so does not stack wtih Boots of Striding adn jumping, Expeditious retreat, or Haste.

Because monks are the only ones who get an extra 60 feet of movement. This plays into other abilities like his High Jump (and really just jumping in general which is capped by your movement). Allowing his fast movement to stack with a variety of other effects would give him ludicrous powers of mobility, when he's already one of the most mobile classes available. (And for those who are going to comment on that not synergizing with his flurry, a said mobile, not offensively capable).
Maybe because it's so much bigger than all those classes? I'm sorry you can't get +60 movement speed at 9th level...

I think it would be a reasonable houserule to say the first 10' speed bonus is untyped, because it is a bit silly to have the monk be faster than the barbarian, until Haste gets cast, and now the barbarian is faster than the monk.
