normal: synthesist uses the BAB of his eidolon.

This was in the archetype FAQ. Basically multiclassing works as normal in that BAB is additive. For example FTR19 / SYN1 has a BAB of 20; 19 from fighter +1 from the synthesist level while the eidolon is summoned (obviously 19 when its not summoned).

As MTCityHunter said. The Eidolon just replaces the BAB from the Synthesist levels. Does nothing to other class levels.
