Liberty's Edge

Rogue rules question:

Rogue talents:

My book says each talent can only be taken once. When it comes to the combat trick talent, as long as you take a different feat each time is that considered a different talent taken?

If not then I have totally messed up my character design, lol.

Grand Lodge

Combat trick can only be taken once. I remember seeing at least one rogue archetype that allows you to take it twice.

Liberty's Edge

Ohhhh Starglim do you remember which archtype that was?

I think Swashbuckler lets you take it twice, but you should double check.

Liberty's Edge

Is it too late to add an arch-type when I already have 3 levels of a class?

About 3 levels too late, yeah.

According to archetype rules, you have to "declare" all your archetypes when you take your first level in that class.

In PFS organized play, there's a campaign "house rule" that you don't have to declare an archetype until you hit the first level where something actually changes. Unfortunately for you, most rogue archetypes replace Trapfinding at level 1.

It's worth asking the GM if it's a home game.

I'd allow him to if if none of the replaced class features (trapfinding, trap sense) had already been used.

Grand Lodge

A number of other tricks give specific feats (Finesse Rogue and Weapon Training in the core rulebook, others in the APG).

I was thinking of Swashbuckler.
