I noticed a user made a remark in the Ask James thread that drawing a sihedron and getting the proportions right is a PITA. Hopefully this post will help anyone interested in drawing one.
The key to drawing a Sihedron, is to first draw a Heptagon (a 7-sided polygon). Drawing an exact Heptagon is difficult, but you can draw an approximate heptagon using a straightedge and compass. This approximation will be so close that you won't notice.
The Wikipedia article Heptagon has a nice gif that shows how it is done. It also has an exact construction using a marked straightedge, but it is not worth the bother, IMO.
Once you have the heptagon, it is just a matter of inscribing the Sihedron. After that, you can add the notches, etc.
