Greater Barghest SLA- Mass Enlarge

Rules Questions

The Bestiary (and PRD) both list Mass Enlarge as a SLA for a Greater Barghest. I assume this means Mass Enlarge Person, as I can't find an Enlarge Monster. Would this affect the Barghest itself, or is it just for use on others? Thanks.

There is no Enlarge Monster spell, and Enlarge Person only works on humanoids. Greater Barghests, being outsiders, shouldn't be affected by the spell. However, the beasts are often accompanied by goblins and hobgoblins so it still isn't wasted on them. A Greater Barghest surrounded by an entourage of Invisible, Enlarged, Bull Strengthed and enRaged hobgoblins can be pretty devastating.

That was my guess. But the AP has one encountered solo and he should have plenty of pre-buffing time, so I wanted to make sure there wasn't some kind of "can use SLA's on themselves" monster ability that I might not know about.

Thanks.

If you're talking about Malfeshnikor, he probably won't need it.
