I'm building an NPC summoner (level 7) who fights fey. However, I can't figure out a way to get his Eidolon to bypass DR/cold iron. There doesn't seem to be an evolution that works, eldritch claws bypasses silver rather than cold iron (and can't be taken by an eidolon until Summoner level 9), and the NPC can't afford a +3 AoMF. The First Worlder archetype can give an eidolon DR/cold iron, allowing it to bypass the same, but it otherwise nerfs the eidolon and in any case DR can't be taken until summoner level 9.
If there something I'm missing, or is this impossible with this level of summoner?
I'm considering making a custom item, maybe a variant Golembane Scarab that works against fey, just to make this NPC make sense.

DR is the thing that messes most with eidolons.
After seeing so many say the summoner is over powered, I finally had a player make one. All it takes is DR 5/something better than magic, and his damage evaporates.
Rather than making a magic item, I would suggest devising a custom evolution that builds off of the count as magic one, or a special feat that's like Eldritch Claws but they count as cold iron only for overcoming DR.

Thanks for the suggestions - all good ideas. I'll have to have a look at what works best for this case.

Either or both options might be worth it in general - I'm working on a fey-heavy campaign and I'm sure the players would enjoy more ways to get past materials DR if they end up making natural weapon builds or anything with a pet.
