Alright, what's the DC of spell-like abilities. I remember from somewhere it's 10+1/2 HD+Cha mod, but I cant find tht anywhere. on that vein, what would be the DC of this SPA?

Kitsune's Charm (Sp)

At 3rd level, a kitsune trickster can use charm person once per day as a spell-like ability (caster level equal to her rogue level – 2). At 6th level, and every three levels thereafter, the kitsune trickster gains an additional daily use of this ability.

This ability replaces trap sense.

Supernatural abilities are 10 + 1/2 level + stat.

Spell like abilities are figured like spells, so it would be 11 (10 + Charm person's level) + stat.

here's another question along those lines.

If a spell-like ability is part of a class, such as Master Spy's ability to cast magic aura for example, what is the caster level of the spell-like ability? is it your total character level, or just the class level? for the kitsune charm person, it specifies your CL is based on your rogue level.

Just the class level, unless it's specifically called out as Character Level.

okies. hmm where does it say that? I dont see it in the description of spell-like abilities.

i'm not doubting, i just wanna be able to find this stuff for myself in the future.

This is the closest I can find on exact wording:

Quote:
If a character class grants a spell-like ability that is not based on an actual spell, the ability’s effective spell level is equal to the highest-level class spell the character can cast, and is cast at the class level the ability is gained.

Not iron-clad but due to a bunch of floating sentence fragments and such from different abilities it's clear that the intention for most of these was to be cast with the class level as the caster level.

Most have the specific text of "Caster level for this ability is equal to your class level", which the Master Spy's thing lacks, likely because the only level affected part of Magical Aura is the duration.

If it duplicates a spell use the spells minimum caster level.

If it isn't based on a spell it is treated as the highest spell level you could normally cast at the level you get the ability.

I believe this is incorrect, and it's not supported by the FAQ you cited either. The caster level is usually the class level of the class that granted the ability, or the racial HD of creature in case of "innate"-SLAs of certain creature types. That is unless the entry of the ability specifies something else.
