Question regarding swallow whole

Rules Questions

So will be starting my first pathfinder campaign next week and just made a summoner and his pet Eidolon. so while reading everything about Eidolon and became really interested with swallow whole. The quest is what happens to creatures/PC that die inside of the Eidolon. Also what happens to the loot?

Uncertain, as I'm not sure whatever sort of energy damage (if any) might be capable of damaging the items. Since eidolons don't "digest" since they aren't actual creatures...I have no idea. I suppose dismissing the eidolon gives you the contents of its gut...

1 person marked this as a favorite.

For some reason I can't help picturing a very upset and very confused goblin dropping out of thin air after somehow surviving being eaten.

Yes the DM is not sure how its going to work and one of the other PC's said i would have to be the one that gets to clean the loot. Was also kinda thinking about just having the Eidolon throw up the corpse/loot.

Thanks for the answers/input

That's going to be a very weird conversation. Eidolons with swallow whole seem to be very awkward turkeys. Just saying...

Yea but I'm kinda looking forward to it. Just clean what I want and tell the group they can have what they want.
