Hi everyone, so I have a situation where I don't know how exactly a flurry of blows should be calculated. Right now, I'm a level 6 Zen Archer and the flurry of blows is sitting at a nice +4/+4/-1 ... pretty much how I plan on working this out is I'm taking Zen Archer until eighth level (+6/+6/+1/+1), dipping into Wizard (No BAB from that) and then going Arcane Archer for ten levels. Now, the Arcane Archer has a full BAB whereas the monk is only a 75% and I'm wondering how exactly this works? So, if I were a level 19 character where I'm Zen Archer 8, Wizard 1, and Arcane Archer 10, my BAB under normal circumstances would be +16/+11/+6/+1, but if I were to use flurry of blows (it says that flurry of blows attack bonus works as if your BAB was your monk level), then would I do a +16/+11/+6/+6/+1/+1 since at eighth level I would get two "off-hand attacks" using my monk level essentially? That's the only way I comprehend it, unless someone can enlighten me. Unless if I'm forced with a choice of doing a full attack at +16/+11/+6/+1 or doing a flurry at +6/+6/+1/+1. Thanks in advance.

How sure are you?
"For the purpose of these attacks, the monk's base attack bonus from his monk class levels is equal to his monk level. For all other purposes, such as qualifying for a feat or a prestige class, the monk uses his normal base attack bonus."
That is the part of description for the flurry of blows.
So there would be a +16/+11/+6/+1 for sure and then would the other two be a +6/+1 or would it be a +14/+9 for standard BAB or would it be a +16/+11 like you say?
I wish they had a section on this in the book and the wording... oh, the wording. -_-

for the purpose of FoB:
your monk BAB is 8
your AA BAB is 10
your wizard BAB is 0
total 18
so a basic full attack would be +18/+13/+8/+3
now 8 levels of monk nets you two extra off-hand attacks (as per improved two-weapon fighting) for the cost of -2 to all attacks
If you look up impr TWF it says you get an extra attack at your highest bounus and on your first iterative.
so you end up with
+16/+16/+11/+11/+6/+1 for a flurry
hope this helps

Thank you! I think I was reading it as for the flurry that I would get my monk levels and my monk levels only for the purpose of the "off hand attacks" which in this case would be my bow. There's something about the way you phrased it and simplified it that made it all so clear! It seems to make sense but then again, it is like 5 in the morning haha. I'll use this as a reference once we get that all figured out later at higher levels to my GM. Thanks much! Oh man, by that time, I'm going to be dishing out so much damage, it's going to be ridiculous ;) ... if I hit.
