Advice
Rules Questions
Suggestions/House Rules/Homebrew

Advice seems like its distinct enough, go there to get some feedback on your character's build, or how to GM a specific Module, etc. Yet, that also falls clearly into Suggestions/House Rules/Homebrew.

Questions on the Item Creation Rules are clearly Rules Questions, but mine was recently moved to the Suggestions/House Rules/Homebrew section, I'm guessing because everyone was offering their house rules as the means to calculate cost. But my very clearly stated question was: Did I Build and Price This Item Correctly by the printed rules? That's a Rules Question, not a House Rules question. :P

The distinctions between these categories is very muddy, and having my thread moved might confuse people into believing that it was deleted (because its not where they expect it to be).

Not sure what I'm achieving here, but perhaps it can be done better or more clearly?

These threads are moved to Homebrew because creating a new magic item is homebrew already (just like a new Feat or Spell would be.) In addition, the pricing rules in the core rulebook are guidelines, requiring more interpretation and GM agreement than a typical rules question.

When we move a thread, we leave a trail of breadcrumbs. If you look at the original forum, you'll see the thread listed there with a note that it has been moved to a specified new location, and if you click on it, it takes you to the thread in its new location.
