Taking a look through the Pathfinder Companion section today, I noticed that there was only a 3.5 version of Elves of Golarion. Which got me wondering why has Paizo moved onto the featured races (Blood of Fiends, Angels, the Night, etc) when they haven't finished the core races. I know that the ARG covers information on elves, I just enjoy all the info that was presented in the other race books (gnomes of Golarion, dwarves, goblins, etc). So I was just curious to see if Paizo has any plans in the works to update the 3.5 version of Elves of Golarion to the PFRPG standards, and make it worth buying?

I would love an updated version of the Elves of Golarion supplement. However I feel it is unlikely as it seems Paizo doesn't like the redo concept. I thought the new dragon chronicle and companion supplements coming out were updates to the dragon gazetteer and such, but alas they are not. I have read that Paizo does like reinventions I think so maybe not a Elves of Golarion update, but rather something like a Kyonin supplement would be more on target. Still speculation at the end of the day, but still hoping :)

A Kyonin sourcebook ala 'Varisia, Birthplace of Legends' would be AWESOME! I would definitely spend money on that. Of course I already am subscribing to the Player Companion line, so FWIW...
Totally agree, I would love more books like Varisia, Birthplace of legend. I'm looking forward to the Irrisen book.

I personally would like to see a 92-128 page expanded "Complete Elves" book released. This idea of needing to keep "GM" and "Players" information physically separate is bad because it means I need to buy two books as a fan of Pathfinder. This separation is pointless since most players also GM anyways (or should be.) A good player will always keep player and character knowledge separate while playing.
