Looking for suggestions on how to build a range oracle (20 point buy, PFS legal, 2 traits).
Have no experence with Oracles and all the guides seem to be for melee.
The problem with oracles and ranged attacks is that 1) ranged combat is feat intensive and oracles don't get bonus feats and 2) there are a tiny number of ranged touch divine spells, so you don't get the synergy a sorcerer can manage with a variety of ray spells.
You can make a ranged oracle, but none of the current oracle mysteries or reservations is an above average choice for a ranged combatant.

Though it hasn't seen much play in game, I have something of an archery-oriented oracle build, if you'd like to hear how I went for it.
First level is barbarian with the Urban Barbarian archetype. This grabs you controlled rage (likely best applied to Dex, though maybe to Str on occasion), while picking up weapon proficiencies (primarily longbow as your weapon of choice). It also gets you some extra hit points at first level (i.e. if you're gonna dip a d12 class, may as well do it on the maxed hit die).
After that, I've got straight Oracle with the Wind mystery, and, personally, I took the Lame curse. This gives you immunity to the fatigue you'd normally have after raging once you hit level 6 (Oracle 5), and at level 8 (Oracle 7) you can get access to the Wings of Air revelation, giving you a fly speed of 60 feet (which later upgrades to 90), nicely bypassing the reduced movement speed. Until then, the lower speed might hurt a bit, but if you think it might be a problem, you could obviously just take a different curse. With ranged combat, you should hopefully not need to run around too much.
Of course, you can mix and match your curse and mystery however you like. That's simply what I went with. Easy access to flight on a ranged character appeals to me.
For stats, Dex and Str are pretty much vital, with Cha at least up to your spellcasting potential. You might let your strength lag a bit if needed, and rely more on buffs and static weapon enhancements to add damage if you want to, though.
4 Skill points per level means you shouldn't need too much into Int, Will is a good save for Oracles, so you shouldn't need to beef that up too much, and Con is... well, good, but with a d8 *and medium armor, plus staying at range, you should be more or less okay on that. Of course, it does affect your HP, Fort Save, and rage per day, so it's certainly nice to boost a bit. *Edit: Err, actually, I forgot to mention the awesome air barrier revelation that I would probably recommend over actual armor. Scales from +4 at first level to +12 at 19, with a 50% miss chance on any ranged attacks when level 13 (all of these one level higher cuz of the Barb dip, but it's pretty nice, imo). Not being able to put enchantments on it can be unfortunate, but it saves you quite a lot of cash considering what it does for you, and with no armor check penalty or anything.
I don't know, there's some thoughts at least. Like I said, the build in question hasn't really seen too much actual play, so it's basically theorycrafting, but might help for some ideas.

Oracle of Wood is another nice one. Wood Bond gets you a bonus on attack rolls with wooden weapons and wooden weapon provides a melee backup. No other revelation gives an attack bonus on the same scale. You'll want to be an elf for the proficiency or dip a martial class. With already delayed spell access I'd go for an elf. Or a half-elf with ancestral weapon. Or a human who was adopted by elves.
For feats start with point blank shot. Your level 3, 5, and 7 feats are deadly aim, precise shot and rapid shot in whatever order you think appropriate. Your level 9 feat is manyshot. From there on... I have to go.

Okay, I'm back. Curse the time limit on editing posts and all that.
At level 11 Snap Shot looks like your best bet, followed by improved snap shot at level 13 and improved precise shot at 15. Combat Reflexes looks like the best bet at level 17 and Elven Battle Training at 19. If you're not actually an elf your level 19 feat is probably something like greater snap shot.

I have a design for a flame oracle thats an archer. Since its PFS, you can take the andoran trait "hunter's eye" which will give you profeciency with either a longbow or shortbow and will save you that feat. If you go with human, you get point-blank and precise shot at level one.
feats:
1: Point-blank shot, precise shot
3: Rapid shot
5: Weapon focus
7: Deadly aim
9: Manyshot
11: whatever
Your not going to keep up with damage output compared with other archers, but others arent going to have blasty spells like burning hands and fireball. Flame also has the ability to fly at 7th level which is a must with some pfs scenerios.
