Hi everyone,
I'm looking into making an Inquisitor for the Shadow Lodge and just wanted to get a group consensus from DM's out there.
With the GM's approval, an inquisitor can be devoted to an ideal instead of a deity, selecting one domain to represent her personal inclination and abilities. The restriction on alignment domains still applies.
So does this mean that I could create an Inquisitor that upholds the ideals of the Society and hunts down those that break the tenets and go rogue instead of a specific faith? My local GM has approved this but thought it might be a good idea to crowd-source the question.
*There would also be no PVP against party members as I know that is not allowed, maybe just a stern in character warning if they break something, lest they be subject to the quisition. ;D*
To facilitate the ideal side the domain would be Law.
Secondary question, an inquisitor still needs a deity to perform holy magic, even if he follows an ideal correct?

That's fine--I care nothing for and know nothing about PFS, so I didn't even know he implied it.
Listen to him, if you are playing PFS.
