How do I add a Class Archetype

Pathfinder Society

So I'm playing a barbarian and I would like to apply an Archetype. So what do i do to apply that archetype now that the character has been made?
Is the even possible?
Pleas and thank you.

You can rebuild a character anytime throughout level 1.

The archetype gives you new class features and tells you what old class features get replaced. That's really all there is to it.

Give it a go and let us know if you get stuck.

Well im pass level one. Lame, I wanted the Raging Drinker so i could drink as a move action.

The exact wording Re: adding archetypes is as follows:

If you wish to apply a legal archetype to your character, you may do so at 1st level as normal. Additionally, you may apply an archetype to an existing class any time you level up as long as the first alternate ability does not replace an ability granted at a previous level.

How *much* beyond 1st level is your Barbarian?

If you have yet to play a game as a 2nd level PC, you can still rebuild him to include the archetype:

1st-Level Character Retraining

Pathfinder Society is all about player choices and living with those choices once you’ve made them. However, at the start of a Pathfinder’s career, you are allowed to adjust your character before settling in for the long haul. Before you level up a character for the first time, you may change any aspect of it except its Pathfinder Society Number. Changes may only be made between adventures and before playing as a character above 1st level. Any exceptions will be noted in the Pathfinder Society FAQ. You are able to keep all treasure, Prestige Points, special boons, and XP that you have earned and apply them to the character once you retrain as long as the character meets the criteria above.

Archetypes don't actually have to be applied at level 1. They do have to be applied at the first level the archetype replaces a class ability.

Unfortunately for you, Drunken Brute replaces Fast Movement at level 1, so it is too late to apply it for this character.

Edit: Bah, I am too slow...

Ok, So its to late, Anyone else know how i can drink as a move action? I was told there was a feat, but I cant find it.

Silver Crusade 4/5

There's a trait for it, but I haven't heard of a feat. Maybe take the Additional Traits feat to pick up this trait and one other, as long as it doesn't conflict with the traits you already have (one per category).

Sovereign Court 3/5

There is a trait in the Cheliax book that allows one to drink a potion if it is in the user's hand at the start of their turn. I can't recall what it is off the top of my head, though.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Accelerated Drinker is the name of the trait, and I think it is a Combat trait, IIRC.

Sigh, I already have a combat trait, Oh well, this is my first chracter. I will learn more when I continue to play.
