Hey guys. While I don't use the entire Kingmaker system, I love using the build points and build point cost building lists to create settlements, military units, and vehicles.
I was wondering if anybody would be interested in or know of a place where pre-built settlements have a somewhat itemized build point cost included.
I plan on running a long-running faction game set around a very small settlement where a portion of their adventure rewards will be build points with which to develop the settlement.
Any ideas or resources would be awesome.

Sorry, I don't know of any such resource.
However, although in the Kingmaker game in which I play we are being very conventional in our citybuilding approach, I did have an idea for a city that made me wish we could play the campaign over again with different characters, just so I could see it play out.
As the city-building rules are written, it would be trivially easy to create a necropolis filled with multiple graveyards, parks, monuments, with perhaps a cathedral to round it out. Such a city would be inexpensive (aside from the cathedral) and would generate plenty of economy, stability, and loyalty.

In my Kingmaker group liked the idea of building cities, but not the specifics of how cities are built. After a while, we just put all the pieces together to make logical cities rather than use the whole system.
I think our biggest problems were first, that there was no logical limit on how many (or few) of most buildings should be in a city. So it actually benefits the party to build ridiculous cities that would never exist irl. Second, we felt like the discount system was backwards. For example, instead of needing to build up a religious community before being able to support a cathedral, it's more efficient to build a cathedral out in the middle of nowhere and then follow up with temples, then shrines.
