Figures, I thank people for free bumps and then they stop. Now this thread is way below where it should be. the Top as we are the TOP bandit/assassin/generally "bad guy" company. Please apply (link on OP) if you want to be apart of this.

P.S. The cake is not a lie and we have lots. ("Permanently barrowed" it from TEO)

Goblin Squad Member

I would like to ask UNC a serious question. To bump or not to bump? That is the bumpity bump.

Oh crap now I probably just earned a death or two... I'm Pax!!! I'm Pax!!!! OoOoOOOoooOO

The UnNamed Company is still recruiting those dastardly few, who covet the belongings of others or thrust a poisoned dagger from the darkness!

We are also seeking the herbalists / alchemists that are unscrupulous enough to concoct those much needed poisons.

Do you also "See Dead People"..... Aye, we are open to any Necromancers who wish to ply their dark arts in the pursuit of wealth and influence.

We are open to those of any alignment, any faction and any reputation level.... The question will be, will you have what it takes to stay with the UnNamed!!!

Yes I said, any alignment.... You may come to us as a Lawful Good preacher of peace a prosperity for all. But I can expect after just a short exposure to our greed, and the coins flowing through your hands.....and you will be twisted like the rest.

I imagine that The UnNamed Company will be one of the major players in mercenary work with the implementation of raiding.

Oh yeah, it will be fun.

This has always been our goal. "Mercenary Bandits" for hire to keep your hands clean....

The UnNamed Company... "Dirty Deeds, Done Dirt Cheap".... "Well, maybe not so cheap" But, dirty deeds will definitely be done.

sent you a pm on our boards Bludd

Edit: I will be on tonight

Goblin Squad Member

bumping for the sake of bumping, because the UNC have no place so far down the forum thread list. Come on guys, we are better than this LOL.

And yes, we will raid your enemies, your competition, your allies...I mean...<wink wink>... we raid who ever YOU pay us to.

Disclaimer: All proceeds acquired during such raids are property of UNC unless SPECIFICALLY determined otherwise during contractual negotiations.

Goblin Squad Member

The UnNamed Company is still recruiting. We are primarily a PVP focused company, particularly in the areas of Banditry, Assassination, Raiding, and Feuds.

We are also allied with Pax Aeternum of Pax Gaming, which will grant our members access to training, markets and crafters.

We are currently active in Darkfall Unholy Wars and EvE Online, as well as a few other online games. We have several members that are playing Pathfinder TT on Saturday nights as well.

Yes, I'm going with a more "Wild Man of the Wilds" look for the time being. I'm kind of curious what kind of a cultural theme The UnNamed Company should go for?

With all of this recent talk about Factions, Faith / Deities and this group is based on this historical culture.... I'm torn.

Is the UNC a bunch of landlocked, former pirates, devoted to Besmara and have turned to banditry because that is what they know how to do?

Or are we wildmen raiders, like the Picts (from Robert E. Howards descriptions), who at times were loosely controlled by great "Civilized" powers (Aquilonia, Nemedia, etc). To be unleashed as a chaotic horde upon their rivals?

Then we have issues of faction (easy) and Reliegion (a bit harder).

Faction is easy, if there is the Outlaw Council of the River Kingdoms. That will be our faction if it is available, and I see no reason why it shouldn't be.

Choice of a Deity is a bit harder. We have Besmara and Calistria. Neither of which fits either the River Kingdoms or the UNC, well enough for me to suggest one or the other.

Perhaps we can create our own faith, fabricate a "Pegan Deity" that we worship and construct a religious belief system around it? It would be inreesting to see if an idea could become a movement; a movement becomes a cult; a cult becoems a religion; the mass of believers generates the Deity; and the Deity inspires the faith?

Just an idea, and one I will post elsewhere for discussion.

Goblin Squad Member

@bludd we are more like landlock vikings.

I'm cool with that idea too. One of my closest friends from gaming was a Dane, and he helped my come up with some of my character names.

Blodvaerd is a Danish translation of Blood Worthy (Bluddworth was the name I used in Pirates of the Burning Sea).

Goblin Squad Member

I will have to go with Talon on this one for sure. I like the idea of the Vikings.

Highly skilled and accurate in where they strike. Yep, Im looking for my new smurf now.

That is a good discussion we should have soon.

Viking Avatar Achieved

Goblin Squad Member

I will get the PDF source book for PFRPG Vikings, yes there is one!!!

This may also slightly change the focus of The UnNamed Company, but those details will be hashed out in our next meeting.

I have also introduced both Goodfellow and Lonewolf to our friends in Darkfall. I'm fairly sure we can count on them joining us in PFO, once OE begins.

As for EvE Online, I'm actively seeking to join a low sec pirate corp or. High / low sec pirate corp. With well over 2 years before the launch of OE, I (we) can create some relationships that will transfer recruits to the UNC in PFO.

By close of EE, I would hope to have about 100 members (current estimate is about 40). Eventually, well after OE, I hope to have hundreds of members.

Vikings were known to pillage and plunder from time to time so it fits LOL. What will there be to change? LOL granted there wouldn't technically be a place for me and my "kin" but we can make room.

Goblin Squad Member

Of course there would, The vikings not only went a viking, but they were also hired by the Kings to be body guards, do dirty work, kill enemies openly, and covertly.

So yes, Vikings were assassins when paid.

Think less of Vikings being an ethnicity, and more of a cultural way of living. A Halfling has a place in living a Viking's way if life.

Goblin Squad Member

This is unacceptable. The UNC doesn't belong this far down the thread list LOL.

If you haven't heard of us, you haven't read the forums. Either way, the OP has the link to the site. Just ask if you have questions.

The UnNamed Company is now running a team through Defiance Online. There is a current sale ($14.99 x 4 Access Keys) which ends on December 3.

I'm currently holding 1 x key for Xeen, but I am willing to purchase another 4 - Pack if more are interested.

Deluxe Upgrades are also on sale for $9.99, or you can buy a Standard + Deluxe for $14.99.

Also, if you already have the game you can just Friend Request "Bluddwolf"

Goblin Squad Member

If you still have that key, I will not have time to jump in and play till after the new year. This time of year is busy season for me at work. We are preparing for Ford to shutdown for Christmas. We will have a week to do any major modifications to the production lines and must be ready for it.

After New Years, I will be much more available to game.

Goblin Squad Member

Ok. If you want the deluxe upgrade, I recommend buying it now, but not activating it until you are ready to sit down and play. The script (cash) and exp boost is nice. the game is set nicely to allow higher level players to come back and help lower level friends without being very OP like in wow or rift. Better gear and more perks is the main difference between new and old players.

The sale ends today so if ya want it, get it.

Do not let the news of the collapse of our alliance with PAX give the wrong impression. We have not lost strength, we have lost a big restriction to our activities. If you seek to rob from those who have something to lose, and live the life resembling that of ancient Vikings, then maybe this is the company for you. Welcoming all of the "darker" types including but not limited to:
Assassins
Necromancers
Bandits
Raiders
Thieves
Barbarians

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I have a feeling UNC will still be roaming PAX territory. Just with more ppl to rob, amiright?

Goblin Squad Member

In fact, you are right Qallz

Qallz wrote:

If Pax becomes the major trade hub (Jita) on the server, then it is safe to assume that in the absence of a contract, all trade to and from Pax lands is subject to SAD or ambush.

The fact that the one step alignment issue has moved Pax to a position that they can't support Chaotic training because both Callambea and Golgotha are both LN and LE, that creates a new situation for Pax.

If you have nothing to offer Chaotics, they have no use for your Kingdom other than a place to prey upon your economic ventures.

Again, this is not Pax's fault, it is the short sighted and built in flaw of the one step Alignment System.

Goblin Squad Member

The ending of the alliance between PAX and UNC does mainly 1 thing, it removes the protection from UNC activities granted to those friendly to PAX. Seeing as PAX has always moved in the direction of a large trading hub, this was a very beneficial perk to offer travelers. Not saying UNC will be the only threat on the road, but removing even 1 threat makes the roads safer. Now that that protection is gone, the roads to PAX will be on par with the dangerousness of all roads, in the eyes of the UNC.

Reminder, contracts and agreements can always be made that do not involve an official alliance. You may always pay your "taxes" up front instead of by the shipment using the SAD/Ambush mechanic. Please see Bludd for the details. Happy travels :-)

Goblin Squad Member

I just had a thought. GW has said that your nation can't be True Neutral, but have they said the same of settlements? If they haven't, you could have a LN nation with a TN settlement which could have CN players and training, as long as I understand correctly. You'd still have to exclude CG and CE.

Goblin Squad Member

Shane,

Ryan Dancey has made it clear, Lawful settlements will have advantages not available to neutral or certainly not chaotic settlements.

Lawful settlements will be the most efficient, and there is no balancing mechanism to offset that.

The Min-Maxers have their preferred alignment. Next I guess we will find out what the preferred race, class and weapons / magic will be.

Goblin Squad Member

And you think having one settlement Neutral in a Lawful nation would be so crippling? Maybe you've read more into what's been presented than I have. Just pointing out that the mechanics may not exclude this alliance.

Goblin Squad Member

The mechanics only exclude the alliance because PAX is going only Lawful in alignment.

There is no reason they could not run a Chaotic settlement, other then they do not want to.

Goblin Squad Member

That would make sense. :)
