Either up your pledge to include two characters, or create another KS account, pledge and pay for it separately.

Question are you wanting 2 of the $35 level pledge? If so just select the $35 tier but put in $70 in your pledge amount. The end of kickstarter email will go out and you can state you wanted 2 of that tier reward.
Or you can just buy the $175 level and get 2 accounts 4 months game time for each account, early beta access and a lot of extra in game goodies.

Yeah as per the FAQ you can only get *extra* copies of the $35 level, otherwise you would need a second KS account and a second pledge.
You can buy as many Adventurer rewards as you wish, just increase your pledge in multiples of the Adventurer price. We'll be able to allow you to customize your Reward after the Kickstarter closes using our fulfillment system.
The Crowdforging tiers are limited to one per pledge. This is why we have created three Crowdforging tiers - a single copy of the game, two copies of the game, and six copies of the game. In order to ensure that everyone gets a chance to pledge at the Crowdforging tiers you can't purchase more than one.
