Power Attack and Grappling

Rules Questions

1- Grapple = Auto-Hit "Tiger Grappling" lvl 6
so can you use power attack With Rake+Bite/2claw2 "Auto Hit" no rolls
or
Do you consider maintaining grappling as an attack roll + the attack roll for Bite/2Claw to confirm critical threat.

Can i know which one is right or is there something iam missing!?

Basically

Iam a druid lvl 6 with a companion tiger also lvl 6, the tiger have the Feat of Power attack and the special attack Rake.

so last night i used grapple in one of the enemies in the first round with my companion tiger, so in the second round i got a +5 to maintain the grapple after that Rake Kick in to use 2 claws as a special action and use a stander action to bite the enemy, so here is my question:

*Can you apply Power Attack with Rake?

*Can you use Power Attack More than Once?

*While grappling you can use a stander action, if i use it to Bite do i roll the attack and can i apply power attack to it?

*When you grapple someone does Maintaining the grapple is considered an Attack Roll?

*All the Tiger attacks are considered primary attacks "Bite and 2 Claws" do i only get the minuses "-2" from power attack if i do a full round action with no grappling or is there other Minuses i get?

I hope that's Clear and understandable :)

This is a standard action that provokes an attack of opportunity from the target of your combat maneuver, unless the tiger has improved grapple.

Yes, assuming the target didn't break the grapple on it's turn.

It's a standard action to maintain the grapple (at +5!) which allows it the option to deal damage (or move or pin).

Power Attack (Combat): "You can choose to take a –1 penalty on all melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks to gain a +2 bonus on all melee damage rolls."

Rake (and the Damage option from maintaining the grapple) are melee damage rolls, so Power Attack will apply.

However, since they are part of the standard action made to maintain the grapple, a GM may rule that the penalty from power attack must apply to the combat maneuver check to maintain the grapple, since PA must be 'turned on' before making an attack roll.

Yes. Once you activate power attack, it stays on until the start of your next turn, applying the penalty to every attack roll you make after that point, and adding the bonus to each melee damage roll you make after that point.

Generally no. You need a standard action to maintain the grapple, and you usually only have one standard action per turn.

Yes, the grapple check is a combat maneuver which is an attack roll.

Performing a Combat Maneuver: "When you attempt to perform a combat maneuver, make an attack roll and add your CMB in place of your normal attack bonus."

At level 6 the tiger has a BAB of +4, so the power attack penalty is -2. Any other bonuses or penalties will still apply. (Strength bonus, Flanking, higher ground, Bless, etc.)
