About Me: Just recently got into Table-top RPG's, so not the most experienced with it. As for MMO's played UO for awhile, which I thought was amazing, than took break and played WoW for a short while(was not impressed), and last MMO I played was TOR, which I actually liked until everyone stopped playing.

Hroderich is more inclined to duel you when you're being obstinate. As a not-so-well educated glory-hound (he's still very young), he takes affronts to his personal honor a little seriously still. And if winning the duel means you have to give a little more in the way of negotiations, even better. ;)

Seeing the dev talk is of only 1 server for PFO, and it probably would be based in Seattle in the USA. Combat type careers would be out of the question for many outside the USA due to major lag (of over 1 sec) experienced for any USA server as a result of distance between player and server. Thus leaving really only the crafting type careers for players to be able to take part in the PFO.
If I ever managed to get the game working on my chosen platform, I would great interest in this guild of traders and crafters.

Two things...
DarkOne I am sure that people all over the world will be able to take part in combat. This isnt a twitch game combat system from what they have said. I bet you will be fine.
Stock Code? STOCK CODE! Did I miss something and we will have a working and worthwhile stock system in this game? Woot woot!

If you're True Neutral so that you can access any part of the worlds economy, and you add a rule saying "Do not disrupt trade," and I can seriously support this group as a player.
An all encompassing trade organization with the only rules being make money and do not interfere with trade would be an unstoppable engine.

I get the feeling that traders and merchants are more Lawful Neutral than any other alignment (see Prophet of Kalistrade).
You probably don't care who you sell to, so long as trade agreements and business transactions are kept and can't be double-crossed.

Actually, I agree that War between players is very profitable, so I have no troubles supporting combat-centric guilds, plus its fun.
Thank you guys for the replies I wasn't evpecting that many replies honestly.
As for the stock code, that was just me trying to sound official.
And with the types of replies I can see alot of corporate espionage going on, between and rival trading organizations, remember in an MMO not all similar type of organizations can get along, plus PFO needs brutal types of competition too.
and one mroe thing sory for late reply my job right now is keeping me very busy, so I don't really have much personal time right now.

As for building trading partners I'm holding that off for the moment, since it will ve awhile till the game comes out, and who knows where I will place my HQ.

I am going to be ally neutral for awhile, since I haven't decided exactly what type of settlement I am going to have. I will try to cator to every type of player, but somehow keep a little order in town. I might allow small amounts of bloodshed in town to keep things interesting and will just be fun to watch. Plus it encourages people to make friends. That or I might head another completely different direction.
